A great builder with a wonderful opportunity to showcase his talent, Ian Staudt was chosen for The Horse Smoke Out in Salisbury, NC. It was a good one! Ian did really well at the Horse Smoke Out, and took second place
in the build off! First place went Fab Kevin on a HD chassis, so it was an impressive showing for a metric
chop! Ian & Monica and family were wonderful, the bike turned out superb and we can't say enough
about what a great crew Ian had giving him a hand! If you are in South Carolina or looking for a top notch
shop, check out Ian's, he does primarly HD work but also seems to have a talent for those metrics! Note: the blue
bottle on the side of the bike, was actually the fuel cell wrapped with blue painters tape, the gas tank is a fake and
houses all the electroncs, fabulous idea, great clean look! A very informative and detailed write up
on the bike and build, featured in the "Horse" magazine issue #66, March of 07'. Congratulations Ian
and crew! Frame Specs: 5" forward - straight backbone
2" up - rolled curved single downtube 45° rake big
twin neck gooseneck 2" rear section stretch 150
